About Chabad of the Berkshires
Chabad of the Berkshires was established as part of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, inspired by the vision and teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson.
The Rebbe believed that every Jew, regardless of background, affiliation, or level of observance, deserves the opportunity to connect with their Jewish heritage. His vision was to bring the warmth, beauty, and meaning of Judaism to Jewish people wherever they may be.
It is this vision that guides Chabad of the Berkshires today.
Serving year-round residents, second-home owners, seasonal residents, and visitors throughout the beautiful Berkshire region, Chabad provides a warm and welcoming home for Jewish life. Through Shabbat and holiday celebrations, Torah classes, educational programs, and community events, we bring people together and create meaningful Jewish experiences for individuals and families of all ages.
