Coronavirus Relief Fund

  • Dear Friend,

These are difficult times for our community, our country and the world.

In addition to the very serious health issue, the Coronavirus affects all of us financially as well.

There has been a flood of requests coming to us from individuals and families in the local Berkshires community asking for immediate financial assistance.

These hard-working people are simply having a hard time paying the rent and putting food on the table.

For this reason, we've established the Coronavirus Relief Fund be able to make immediate grants to local people needing financial assistance.

Over the years as a Rabbi in the Berkshires, people have reached out to me for emotional, moral and spiritual support; but rarely for financial support.

This is the first time I've witnessed such a significant need for financial assistance amongst members of the local community. The current crisis is unique in many ways; the way it is impacting people who are normally financially stable is perhaps one of them.

If your own financial situation is ok, please click here and make a generous contribution to help our neighbors get through this difficult time period. The need is greater than one might think.

Help me ensure people in our community are able to pay their rent and put food on their tables while we all hunker down and wait for things to normalize again.

Thank you so much for being my partner in this important mitzvah.

    Stay home. Stay safe.
    Remember to wash your hands...
and in whose hands you are.

Think good and it will be good!

    Sincerely,
    Rabbi Levi Volovik
